Acquisition of the mill by the Tschudi family. Operated until 1901 with two water wheels arranged one behind the other, a hulling passage to remove the husks from the grain and a grinding passage with millstones.

1941
The water wheel is replaced by a turbine. Since 2005 the turbine has served solely to generate electricity.
1942
The Altbachmühle's first wood-gas tractor put into service for flour deliveries.
1963
Reconstruction of the mill with a modern roller mill installation from the Meyer company of Solothurn.
2012
Overhaul of the mill built in 1963.
2014
Major extension of the mill with a mixing plant, silos and bagging facilities.
2016
First successful cultivation of durum wheat for pasta production.
